A mouth full!

I have a mouth full of gum and I keep pulling the gum out of my mouth and throwing it away but though I keep throwing it away it continues to fill my mouth and sticks to my teeth. I never get rid of it all and my jaw gets tired because I sense my mouth is so full of the gum that I can’t relax my face muscles.

Are you “chewing” on something you are trying to say, in your everyday life, but it never comes out? ( Like “honey, if you keep being like this I will leave”, or “even though you are my boss I will not do that”, or other difficult things to bring up in a conversation )

I also have those dreams… Randomly my mouth will be almost glued shut with chewing gum. I try to pull it out, but can’t ever get all of it.

Different internet searches seem to all say the same thing. I have trouble communicating what I really want to say.

This is definitely true in my real life. I often have difficulty putting my thoughts into words and constantly have memory lapses for basic words or names.

I just saw an msn post where the dream doctor said that this was from sleep apnea, warning you that you’re not able to breathe while you’re sleeping.  Oh boy!  I get this one too, and now I can add anxiety to the mix.

I have read that it means you may be suffering from sleep apnea, and the “gum” is actually your tongue blocking your airway. You may want to discuss the possibility with your doctor.

I have this dream also but only when I wear my retainers to bed. I don’t know about sleep apnea but I do know that I have never had the dream when I don’t wear the top one to bed. Also, I have pulled it out in my sleep….just a thought.

I literally just had this dream during my nap and I totally agree with the interpretations. I however believe that this is clearly a message from God, giving me a bit of clarity about my situation. I, too am stuck in a situation where I feel powerless and trapped. And usually I am the type to avoid traps and find ways out of a overwhelming problem but with this situation, I am locked in. I have definitely been asking God to give me clarity about the situation because for once in life, I can’t understand what’s going on. In summary, I feel like I have bitten off more than I can chew but it’s only because I have asked God to use me, and the situation that I am in, he is definitely using me by teaching how to be strong and to remain consistent even when I feel like I want to run away from this overwhelming situation. Maybe someone else needed to hear this as well :). Crazy how we all can have the same dream that connects us to the same underlying problem

I keep having this dream, over and over as well. The one I just had, I was trying to explain my business, and acquire new customers. I could never really understand much of what the person I was talking to was saying. But, whenever I tried to explain things, I would end up with a mouth FULL of gum, and kept having to try to pull it out, in order to talk. In my waking life, I have been having a really hard time with my business. I have had a hard time trying to get people to listen, and being scared to talk to people, because I keep getting “No”. So, I believe that, having issues saying what you want or need to say in the waking life, is accurate.
