Best Friend Killed

(Just to clarify: I had this dream on May 28, 2013)

The dream started out with me and my best friend walking back, from a convention we attended all day long, to the hotel we were staying at. As we were walking and conversing, this person, walking from the opposite direction, pulls out a pistol and shoots my friend in the chest 4 times. I was in complete shock and crying as the murderer ran off into the distance. I caught my friend as he was falling backwards; he was bleeding really bad and I could see tears running down his face; I told him to hold on a bit longer and hugged him. For a few minutes, I was screaming for help and finally help arrived. Some were calling paramedics and others were trying to stop the bleeding. But before the paramedics arrived, he died in my arms. I held him tight in my arms, crying.

I woke up and started to cry; this went on for the next few days, but I still don’t know what it means and thinking about it makes me really sad.
