I dreamt my dog was killed in front of me

I dreamt that I was alone with my boyfriend’s dog at his house and a coworker of mine was there (I don’t exactly like her). She was telling me that she didn’t have to hurt Wallace (our 1 year old gordon setter), she could just slowly poison him without my boyfriend knowing and leave. I asked her why she wanted to kill Wallace and she said she could either slowly poison him or kill him right then. When I asked what happened to not hurting him she said “I lied” and plunged a knife into his head. He whimpered softly and blood gushed everywhere then fell to the floor. I screamed and started crying then grabbed the knife and stabbed her in the heart, killing her. I called my boyfriend to tell him what happened and when he started crying I was rocking Wallace’s limp body in my arms and crying into his neck. Why would I dream that my coworker killed my dog?

Interpretation #1

It looks like the tension is high between your coworker and yourself. If you have some kind of competitive streak going between the two of you, the dream simply signifies that you need to do the rightful and try and keep things even. Although, the dream does not mean that your coworker will kill your dog, yet it shows that you should be wary of her because sometimes people get so obsessed with competitions that they end up going a step further than what is justified. Try and maintain a healthy work atmosphere because she looks like she could bring in troubles for you.
