Uninterpreted Dream

I fell in love with a complete stranger

I was at a sort of fair with my family. My parents let my brothers and I go explore. I boarded a bus that took you to different places in the fair. The bus ride happened to be longer than expected, a couple hours. A boy who looked younger then me sat next to me. He had honey brown ‘flippy’ hair and brown eyes. When the bus began moving, he started talking to me. We found out we had tons in common and he seemed to understand me, when nobody else did. He told me his name (which I forgot), and that he was fourteen. A year older than I was. He seemed uneasy around me for some reason, and I felt the same. It was because I had developed feelings for him. I told him this, and he just smiled nervously. I asked him out, and that’s when he told me he had to leave. I asked why but he didn’t answer. It looked like something urgent was happening to him, and he needed to leave. He left with his to older brothers, both ginger with freckles, one wore thick, black rimmed glasses and his hair stood straight up. I then began frantically following him through the fair, asking why he was ignoring me and what was going on, but he kept quiet, and kept searching for something I couldn’t see. He was much taller than me so his pace was faster. Eventually I lost track of him and went back to my family. When we went home, I called him and texted him (he had given me his number), but there would be no answer. One day, I saw him again and asked why he ignored me. He said he had something important to do and that I wouldn’t understand, he looked sad when he said this.
