I had high heels on in school and my ex helped me

I had a dream last night (not counting multiple others) that I went
to school in REALLY high heels and I kept falling over and tripping.
My recent ex (broke up with him about three days ago) came up
and helped me by holding me up so I wouldn’t fall and carried my
books and everything! It was really sweet but it ended badly by me
telling him that I didn’t need his help and him not speaking to me
ever again.
I broke up with him for really no good reason (mostly because I wanted
to be single) we dated for three weeks and talked before that for about
two months! He is a great guy and I still hope that we’ll be good friends like we were before we dated but I don’t know if he’ll want anything to do with me now..
Is my mind trying to tell me that I broke up with him for the wrong reasons and that he actually was a great guy for me and I just didn’t see it? I’m so confused.

Interpretation #1

The dream is giving you signals that hen you are in a lot of problems; it was this guy who helped you out. As you are already aware of the fact that you ended the relationship for apparently no good reason, it means that the dream is showing that it is all your fault. However, the part where you end up quarrelling with the guy shows that although he was good to you, yet you did not pay him back in the same coin. Thus, the dream is arising because of the guilt that you are feeling. May be, you can have a second chance with him and the dream is urging you to speak to him again.
