My ex and his girlfriend

It was a very weird dream. There were a bunch of people in a big room, looked like a celebration, maybe a party was taken place. My ex girlfriends was there along with my ex on the other side of the room. There were many other people aswell and it looked as if I was just entering the room. It looked like a performance was going on which she was part of. It didnt make sense because she danced very inappropriately with a guy that wasnt my ex but my ex was in the same room and made no remarks to this. After she and the other boy were done, she walked towards my ex to criss cross arms and bring him to the dance floor which to me looked like they were performing. He was the first boyfriend I had and we dated for 5 years. I Broke it up because I did not feel fully fulfilled in the relationship. For some time I felt very bad about wanting to end things with him because everything seemed perfect and his family truly adored me. But I felt bored in the relationship, as if it wasnt exciting anymore and I wasnt valued much. Now the way I see it is we were just different people, I needed more excitement and adventures than he did. We live in the same town, his new girlfriends has anamosity towards me, looks at me in a mean way and he does not speak to me when shes around but would do nice gestures when shes not around. Her and I havent ever spoken to one another other than seeing each other around. After him I dated someone else and am now starting to date another guy. Its going to be about maybe 2 years since the break up and I dont dream about him, not that I could remember so I am very confused as to what this dream could have meant.
