Revisited memories from old dreams, shot in the neck

Last night I had a dream I was home alone with my cat and dog. In reality I own a 9mm Beretta that sits next to my bed but is not loaded for safety. Well in my dream I was laying on the floor in my room watching a movie and thinking of another dream (which I was thinking actually happened) of where my mother bought a wonderfull ranch style home with land. I was wondering how she got from there to living in a trailer park struggling to get by (that part is true in reality). Out of nowhere someone, somehow, broke through my 2nd story window and put a gun up to me. I remember trying to get to my gun begging him to not kill me. He kept putting the gun to my chest saying he was going to do it. When I reached for my gun he put the barrel to the left side of my neck and said, “I told you I’d do it” and shot me. It didn’t kill me and I had a rush of adrenaline and was somehow able to attack him and drag him into the hall. I was going to initially grab my dad’s gun but I instead twisted his gun from his hand as he mocked me the entire time and shot him in the right shoulder. I let him fall to the floor as I pressed the police symbol on my house alarm we have docked on the wall and just stood there. I knew I could talk but I was too afraid to touch my neck. I passed out on the floor before waking up in reality feeling a hard pressure on my neck. This isn’t the first dream I had where I was affected in the dream world and could feel it exactly in reality to the point of waking me up. This dream was just way to vivid for me.
